ZOLLER induction technology allows you to heat your shrink chucks optimally. For you, this means: uniform heating across the entire clamping range and only for as long as necessary. Two windings connected in parallel within the coil can be activated separately and controlled differently depending on the clamping diameter and length. Flexibility in an instant

With the ZOLLER induction coil with shielding discs, you are opting for a simple, manual shrinking process suitable for infrequent diameter changes or low variance.

Discs of different diameters ensure that the coil’s magnetic field is optimally aligned and shield it accordingly. The optionally available »shrinkbyLight« operator guide, consisting of a control LED for diameter monitoring and a status indicator for the windings, further increases process reliability when operating your »powerShrink«.

With ZOLLER’s »powerShrink«, you can cool with maximum efficiency. The five cooling bells for standard-compliant shrink chucks ranging from 6 mm to 32 mm in diameter ensure fast, even cooling thanks to their intelligent design and integrated contact cooling. Your shrink chucks are protected, and high concentricity is maintained.

The unique cooling alternative

With ZOLLER’s »zStream« air cooling system, you get maximum flexibility and protection when cooling your tools and shrink chucks, regardless of their shape or diameter. Tool cutting edges are completely protected from damage. You don’t need any accessories, such as cooling adapters. In addition, your shrink tools are cooled evenly along their entire length of up to 350 mm.

»coolbyLight« Operator Guidance

Innovative cooling bells with »coolbyLight« operator guidance and cooling management, as well as a diameter indicator—guide the operator safely through the cooling process using the color system and LEDs on the cooling bells. Additionally, the cooling bells are clearly marked with the corresponding tool diameters.

Optionally, the »powerShrink 600« is also available with standard cooling bells or with »zStream« air cooling.

Smooth-running spindle – for fast and comfortable spindle movement. The pneumatic release of the spindle clamp, the high-precision THK linear guide, and the counterweight enable operators to work ergonomically and ensure a long service life. The maximum tool length is 600 mm.

Induction coil with »varOct« shielding system

Intelligent induction coil with »varOct« shielding system – featuring ergonomic handles on the left and right sides, including membrane function keys for moving the coil and activating the heating process. Thanks to the maximum inner diameter of 45.8 mm, even tools with larger cutting diameters can be easily shrunk on and off. The inner diameter of »the varOct« can be quickly and easily adjusted to the desired diameter manually using a detent mechanism or, optionally, automatically.

ZOLLER »shrinkbyLight« is, alongside »coolbyLight«, one of the two functions of the ZOLLER »actbyLight« operating concept. This optionally available spool operator guide uses LEDs to indicate which windings are active and whether the selected diameter matches the selected data set. This eliminates the possibility of an incorrectly set spool! The fume extraction system ensures the protection of the operator.

Industrial-grade 12.5-inch TFT touch monitor with ZOLLER »pilot« software – impresses with a crystal-clear display and easy touch operation. The clearly structured graphical user interface guides users intuitively through the shrinking process using large function areas and colors. The intelligent cooling system, the Cooling Manager, coordinates cooling times based on the mandrel diameter and shuts off the cooling module after a defined time. This saves additional energy.

Smooth-running, linear, mechanical cooling bell guide – enables precise and safe positioning of the cooling bells on your shrink chucks. A counterweight ensures that the cooling bell does not fall abruptly downward when released via the push-to-release mechanism. This is safe and prevents injuries. The guide also ensures that the cooling bell does not touch the cutting edge when placed on the chuck, thus preventing damage.

Also available in a version with a simple locking mechanism.
