The High-Performance Synergy

»twinPanel« Safety Hood

»twinPanel« Safety Hood

»twinPanel« Safety Hood

Complies with DIN ISO 21940-23 Class C60 for maximum safety.

The internal “sacrificial pane” absorbs contaminants such as residues of cooling lubricants and damage caused by component detachment. This takes into account the very important and often overlooked process of protective pane aging, which results from daily use. By enabling a quick and cost-effective replacement of the sacrificial pane, the ZOLLER »twinPanel« ensures the long-term safety of your operators.

High-precision spindle

High-precision spindle

High-precision spindle

Accommodates virtually any tool holder with a corresponding balancing adapter. Depending on the weight, the spindle rotates the tool at a variable speed ranging from 400 to a maximum of 1,200 revolutions per minute and measures the imbalance with an accuracy of < 0.4 gmm.

In designing the high-precision spindle, ZOLLER placed special emphasis on a safe and certified adapter change process. A special design feature prevents accidents and damage caused by balancing adapters that are not securely fastened in the spindle.

Adapter compartment

ZOLLER Control Software

ZOLLER Control Software

Simple ZOLLER operating software

The structured, graphical interface intuitively guides the operator through the measuring and balancing process.

The machine is set up by entering the tool geometry data. All data is stored in the database and remains available for later use.

»Cockpit« control panel

»Cockpit« control panel

Separate »cockpit« control unit

It is adjustable in height and position, and the monitor can be tilted; it can be easily moved to the desired position, making software operation as comfortable as possible.

In addition to touch control, the »cockpit« offers input options via mouse and keyboard, as well as storage compartments for label and laser printers, handheld scanners, and tools such as Allen wrenches.

Reach your destination safely and quickly

»toolBalancer« makes tool balancing exceptionally easy: thanks to the ergonomically designed »twinPanel« safety hood, a convenient membrane keyboard, a storage compartment for balancing adapters, and shelves in the spacious work area.

The ZOLLER operating software, with its structured graphical interface, intuitively guides the operator through the measurement and balancing process. Using the appropriate software options, all balancing applications on 1 to 2 balancing planes are available, such as fixed-point balancing with balancing screws, the use of balancing rings, or balancing through material removal such as drilling or milling.

From the center to the highest precision

Imbalance in tools results from an asymmetrical design and the resulting asymmetrical distribution of mass. The ZOLLER »toolBalancer« counteracts this imbalance by intentionally incorporating a center offset in the balancing adapter during the measurement and balancing of your tools.

The center-offset balancing adapter is designed with a two-point contact system and a pressure piece. These features result in a strong and more accurately measurable sensor signal and guarantee highly precise balancing results, especially for high balancing quality and small imbalances.

Learn more

Center offset

A defined displacement of the tool holder by the pressure piece toward the contact surfaces creates the center offset, ensuring high reproducibility of the results.

Fixed-point contact

For high reproducibility: The tool holders are firmly in contact with the contact surfaces of the balancing adapter.

Pressure piece

The pressure piece presses the taper of the tool holders against the contact surfaces of the balancing adapter without any play.

Balancing means peace of mind for tools

If rotating tools are not true, vibrations occur. Even at low speeds, these vibrations can lead to increased tool wear, reduced surface quality, and additional stress on the machine spindles. Therefore, have your tools balanced regularly on a ZOLLER balancing machine.
