»powerShrink« – Applications

With ZOLLER’s »powerShrink,« shrink-fitted tools are ready for use in no time: thanks to the intuitive »pilot« software, the intelligent induction system, and continuous monitoring of the process steps.

The »powerShrink« technology ensures the shortest possible process times. Even inexperienced operators can achieve these short process times after just a brief training period. The »pilot« operating software guides you through all work steps and controls many processes fully automatically. For each step, the software displays the component required and provides visual support through on-screen graphics and the pioneering ZOLLER »actbyLight« operating concept. The light-guided operator interface ensures safe and efficient use of the »powerShrink« in your company.

Insert the shrink-fit chuck, select the heating parameters (manually or automatically via »idChip«)

Shielding system: Install and align the shield or »varOct« (manually or motorized)

Move the spool down to the shrink chuck

Start the heating process; the heating progress is displayed in the software

After the heating process, raise the coil and insert the cutting tool into the shrink chuck

Slide the receiving pot onto the green flashing cooling bell and place it on top

The cooling process starts automatically; when it ends, a blue light flashes

After the cooling process is complete, remove the cooling bell from the shrink sleeve

The clearly structured graphical interface of the ZOLLER »pilot« software guides users intuitively and reliably through the operating dialog step by step, using large function buttons and a well-designed color scheme. The 12.5-inch monitor delivers a crystal-clear display.

Main Menu – large functional areas with clear icons: Select shrink-fit types, Select parameters, or Scan code.

Parameter Selection – The desired heating parameters can be selected easily and reliably using clear and intuitive software interfaces.

Scan function – all parameters compatible with the shrink chuck are loaded automatically, regardless of the manufacturer. It is possible to monitor the number of heating cycles and view information for each shrink chuck.
