The fume extraction system reliably removes fumes from the operator’s work area. The established and patented fume extraction system above the induction coil has been expanded to include an integrated extraction system inside the coil housing. This ensures that fumes are extracted directly where they are generated. The filter unit is securely housed under the table.
With ZOLLER’s »zStream« air cooling system, you get maximum flexibility and protection when cooling your shrink chucks, regardless of their shape or diameter. In addition, your shrink tools are cooled evenly and safely along their entire length—without the risk of damage. »zStream« is also ideal for cooling offset tools. »powerShrink« is available with two or three separate cooling stations* for parallel, effective use.

The »pilot« software’s scan function, in combination with the handheld scanner, allows for the reliable selection of the appropriate shrink-fit parameter by scanning the holder number on the shrink-fit mount. Regardless of the manufacturer, all shrink-fit chucks with a DataMatrix code (e.g., ZOLLER »idLabel«, ZOLLER »idChip«) are supported.
In the »pilot« software, each heating cycle can be counted for each shrink chuck. Additionally, a warning and wear limit can be set with regard to the permissible number of heating cycles.
As an alternative to placing it on a workbench, the »powerShrink 400« can be positioned on a stand with an ergonomically optimized working height. This stand provides a tidy space for the cooler and fume extraction system. The stand is optionally available with sturdy casters and an ergonomic handle to allow for flexible positioning of the »powerShrink 400«.
There are 3 basic configurations available for the induction coils:
- Combination of any 14-kVA induction coil with a quick-change interface; switching the induction coil from one induction coil axis to another depending on the shrink chuck length
- Combination of any two 14-kVA induction coils without »shrinkbyLight« and without a quick-change interface
- Combination of any 14-kVA induction coil with a 22-kVA induction coil featuring a quick-change interface
Storage tray for mounting rings and special cooling adapters
The storage tray provides space for four mounting rings and six size I special cooling adapters, or three size I and three size II special cooling adapters.
Tool tray
For storing shaft tools at the shrink-fitting workstation. The position of the tray can be freely selected by the operator.
Storage for cleaning brushes
A storage tray is available for all brush diameters; it can be attached to the machine at any position using magnets. Brushes for cleaning the mounting bore of shrink-fit chucks are also available from ZOLLER – for shank diameters from D3 mm to D32 mm, optionally made of brass or plastic.
Split shielding discs with holder
For shrinking off-set tools, a set of split shielding discs (5 pieces) including the corresponding disc holder can be ordered as an option.
