Software

01. Select tool type, e.g., end mill > end mill with corner radius

02. Select the desired parameters

03. Active measurement, e.g., effective contour corner radius

04. Measurement results (measured fully automatically and without data entry/programming)

The »hobCheck« software makes the quick and micrometer-precise measurement of gear cutting tools a breeze—based on ZOLLER’s »pilot 4.0« software. Cylindrical hob cutters are measured fully automatically and evaluated in accordance with DIN 3968.

Groundbreaking efficiency for your grinding shop

The greatest potential for efficiency lies outside the grinding machine: ZOLLER Solutions are your key to the future—we help you achieve greater success. After all, manufacturing faster and more efficiently leads to greater cost-effectiveness, allowing you to invest in the future. If economic progress is your goal, then ZOLLER is your partner.

Software features

For maximum performance

To automatically measure the concentricity of circular surfaces (e.g., tool shanks) and graphically evaluate the entire contour profile.

For drilling tools and hollow-ground tool edges, the length is determined by contour tracking from the starting point (outer diameter) to the tool tip or the defined end point.

Automatically scans the groove/chip space contour without contact and displays it graphically.

For the automatic determination of concave and convex radii on the outer contour of tools, including adjustable angular sectors with graphical analysis.

Calculates the rake angle within the radius segment based on the specified angles. Suitable for face mills, corner mills, and full-radius mills.

To scan any tool or workpiece contours and perform a comparison between the target and actual values or dimension the contour.

Measures and records any contours, radii, angles, distances, and defects (wear) using reflected light.

To display all measurement results—including descriptions, setpoints, tolerances, and much more—in a table format with a flexible layout.

A virtual measuring tool for the PC workstation that allows users to externally configure the inspection and measurement process—including measurement programs, target values, and tolerances—based on a 3D model of the tool, even before it is manufactured.
