The software module for the detailed creation of individual components creates a future-proof IoT basis for tool management.

Management of complete tools

Based on the individual components, the "Tool data management" function offers graphical and parametric tool assembly according to the tools actually available. In addition, the correct tool assembly according to the parts list/component definition is ensured.

• Creation of where-used lists for individual components
  and complete tools
• Supported 2D formats: DXF/DWG/BMP/TIF/JPG/GIF/PNG

Management of setup sheets

Setup sheets provide the user with a list of information and resources required for a job. These can be forwarded directly to the warehouse, to the CAD/CAM station or to the machine and used.

Data import/export

Importing and exporting tools, individual components and setup sheets, accessories, machine data and other data between the individual ZOLLER products. With the help of import filters, platform-independent data can be imported or exported using postprocessors.

Catalog import of tool data

Imports tool data from many well-known manufacturers and cloud-based service providers (e.g. CIMSOURCE and GTDE) and can therefore quickly provide 2D/3D graphics, material characteristics and technology data. The tool data can be completed at any time and made available immediately via an export. Using the web service, third-party applications can access the shared database and import newly compiled setup sheets, for example.

Characteristics list according to DIN 4000

You can use the complete DIN 4000 characteristic list structure to define your individual components in accordance with standards. This guarantees a smooth exchange of information with external systems such as CAD/CAM and NC simulation systems. This uniform, standardized database is the basis for automatic tool data import.

Automatic generation of envelope contours from material characteristics

Thanks to the DIN 4000-based feature structure, 2D drawings and 3D contours can be generated automatically from the features entered or imported in ZOLLER tool management. Changes to your tools (e.g. clamping length) are automatically implemented in the drawings. The 3D contours can be exported and made available to CAD/CAM and simulation systems for collision checking.

Integration of measuring device

The BRONZE package includes the integration of a ZOLLER presetting and measuring machine. This enables you to use all the functionalities of the TMS Tool Management Solutions software packages on your ZOLLER machine.
