Yes, »pomBasic« is characterized by a high level of user-friendliness, among many other advantages. For example, the most important and most frequently used functions can be arranged in favorite groups. This means that every operator has quick and simple access to the required measuring functions.

A digital zoom is available in the operating software for all camera variants. In addition, the cameras of the variants »pomColorCam« and »pomMicroCam« have an optical zoom.

The DXF function can be used to quickly and reliably align tools optically with their nominal contour in DXF format.

A function for automatic illumination setting at the touch of a button is available for Incident light. In addition, all available illuminations can be quickly and simply optimally adjusted using the quick access function.

Ideally, the diameter range of the »pomBasic« starts at 3 mm and increases towards the top. For the „pomBasic MTI« the diameter range starts at 0.2 mm and also increases towards the top.

The travel paths of the X and Y axes are identical for both device variants. This means that even larger tool diameters can be reliably measured with the „pomBasic MTI« reliably measured.

A large number of tool holders are available for a wide range of tool areas.
