Secure Data Transmission with ZOLLER »zidCode« Identification Code
Simple, fast, and secure: »zidCode« is a new and efficient solution for tool identification and data transmission that doesn’t need a network connection. Instead, it transmits data for complete tools via a QR code without requiring software installation on the machine controller. The process is exceptionally simple: Tools are measured using a ZOLLER presetting and measuring device, then all data is encrypted into a QR code and printed on a label. This code is then scanned into the machine and the data is automatically transferred to the correct data fields in the CNC machine controller. Typos caused by manual data input are eliminated and process security is guaranteed.
»venturion 600« with powRgrip® Clamping System
For the first time, ZOLLER is displaying a solution for all users of powRgrip® clamping systems to “press-in” tools to a defined length. Now, in conjunction with the REGO-FIX powRgrip® clamping system, tools of all kinds, including tools with powRgrip® chucks, can be flexibly, quickly, and precisely set to length and measured using the »venturion 600« presetting and measuring device. This means maximum transferrable torque, outstanding vibration dampening, and long tool lives.

See it now at AMB: 3D kernel integrated in TMS Tool Management Solutions software. For the user, this means: simple creation of 3D single components thanks to expanded DIN4000 article characteristics structure and fast dimensioning of tools in 3D. Tools are visualized in all 3 dimensions as a result and can be transferred to or integrated in CAM and simulation systems for a reliable production process.
Universal Inventory Possible
Now available and live at the AMB 2016: 100% traceability of both single components and complete tools allows companies to precisely record tool lives and tool wear. Detailed information can be recorded and traced to the setup sheet across the entire manufacturing process. The lifecycle of the tool is now documented from the warehouse to manufacturing and regrinding. Clearly identifying components based on their serial numbers allows for true transparency in tooling, and is the basis for systematic tool management and Industry 4.0 processes.
