Threads are a must in the automotive
industry — although manufacturing them
is unfortunately fairly complex. That’s
why ZOLLER worked with EMUGE to devel
op a new, fast, and inexpensive solution
for cutting threads with a defined start
ing point.
FROM START TO FINISH FASTER WITH
THREADS
This solution consists of a combination
of an EMUGE position teaching system
and a specialized measuring program
by ZOLLER. This combination allows tap
drills to be inserted into the CNC machine
at a certain position and the starting
point of the thread to be precisely deter
mined. Threads can be milled significant
ly more quickly and inexpensively.

a specialized measuring program for

chip by the presetting and measuring
machine, or sent directly to the CNC ma
chine — guaranteeing fast and error-free
processes.
