Total Tooling Control with ZOLLER Smart Cabinets

When you are able to pull tools directly out of your storage cabinet without having to look for them, you can save a significant amount of time. When you know where every tool is located, you won’t lose tools or have duplicate tools in your inventory. This reduces your costs. With ZOLLER Smart Cabinets, each component has its own unique storage location. Locations are displayed graphically in the software and illuminated LEDs show the user how to find the requested tool.

User report: Enormous Savings with tool management

After it decided to introduce ZOLLER TMS Tool Management Solutions software, special-purpose machine builder SIM Automation GmbH from Germany generated six digit savings last year. Using ZOLLER tool management as a key part of its digital corporate landscape helped SIM integrate a wide variety of machine and software manufacturers. SIM’s interfaces to CAM system SolidCAM, along with their Hänel lift system and their ERP system, AMS, ensured a high level of transparency in their process chain and significantly improved cost controlling.
