... ZOLLER uses the barcode to carry the name and number of a cutting tool. It is
applied to the cutting tool on a label or a printout. Corresponding barcode readers
are installed on ZOLLER presetting and measuring machines. When the barcode
on the tool is read, the tool data stored in the electronic control unit or tool
management system is called up. Also, ZOLLER presetting and measuring
machines are capable of printing out barcode labels to be attached to tools.
