Once the operator has measured the tool dimensions on a ZOLLER tool presetter or inspection machine ZOLLER provides several ways of transferring data to your machine control where the data is needed for accurate production.

The tool data can be simply printed onto a label with which the measured tool can be marked. In addition, with ZOLLER’s tool identification systems the tool data is written onto a chip located in the tool holder and automatically read by the machine control. This is a more secure and error-free way of data transfer.

Most convenient and secure data transfer is over DNC network: the tool data is sent automatically from the ZOLLER tool presetter to the machine control. ZOLLER provides standard interfaces to the most famous CNC machines and tool grinding machines.

ZOLLER tool presetters and measuring machines can even be integrated into a complete shop control system to manage tool inventory and tool history. ZOLLER also offers the ZOLLER »toolmanager« which is a tool management software to most efficiently organize any tool crib resources.

Interfaces to USB, RS232 and Ethernet network are standard.
